Ever wish you had all the information you needed to become successful in anything? It’s said if you listen to two hours of audio a day, read 1 book a month, and watch several teaching videos, you’ll become an expert in just 7 years.
I listen to podcasts on a near daily basis. I’ll listen to money tips, entrepreneurial advice, book writing, blogging, and even the occasional TV show podcast. The world of podcasting is huge and growing by the day.
Last week, I launched my annual reader survey. This survey is designed to help me create more relevant content for you. This blog is a relationship and the road goes both ways.
This is why I do this survey. I want to give you a voice in what I write and create. This year’s survey was not the success that I was hoping for. Maybe it was the timing and maybe people are tired of taking surveys.
As a blogger, I love when I get to look back at what I’ve accomplished in a given year. This past year, I’ve written nearly 120 blog posts. That’s a lot of writing. In fact, it’s so much that I could have written a 75,000-word book. That’s the size of a regular 350-page novel. WOW!
Now that 2016 has come and gone and 2017 is fresh and new, I wanted to take a look back at some of the best blog posts/podcasts episodes I’ve written/recorded last year.
I believe we all have a message to share. This is why I created this podcast and blog. My desire is to help take your ministry, church and/or business to the next level. Today we’re talking about podcasting. And I want to give you a very simple step-by-step guide in starting a podcast and why it’s a good idea. I also have a tip of the week for you that you need to know, if you already have a podcast. All of this and more in this week’s episode of The J. B. Sisam Show.

Have you ever wondered how churches get their audio on iTunes, or even how some create amazing content that seems too good to be true? Well today we’re talking about how to do a church podcast. Even if you don’t run a church, the tools here are the same. We’re going to get a little geeky in today’s episode, so if that’s your thing, you’re in the right place. Also, we’ll be diving back into John Maxwell’s devotional on leadership, so stick around for that. We also have another great tip of the week for you. All this and more on this week’s episode.

Tuesday, I received notice from my podcast host that all episodes had been shut down because of lack of space. Bummer! So, I’m moving to a new host. However, it will take some time to upload the audio to my new host. I ask that you all bear with me during this transition.
Episode 12 is currently live and the forthcoming Episode 13 will be live on Friday.
I apologize for any inconvenience this causes, my team and I are currently working on the situation and soon all episodes will be live. Thank you for being loyal supporters of JBSISAM.COM and CrossTALK Podcast.
If you would like any of the current episodes, simply email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I will email you the mp3 file direct.
Blessings in Christ,
Blogging is a unique thing to do. It’s time-consuming if you don’t know what you’re doing. Yet, even if you do take your time, this can be a very effective means to communicate with your congregation and create community.
