I can’t tell you how many writer’s seminars, meetings, or online courses I’ve taken, all have one thing in common, they suggest using an outline. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a huge fan of outlining your work. In fact, if you don’t take the time to outline in some fashion, your writing will not be succinct.

I started blogging in 2009. At first, I had no clue as to what I was doing. I thought blogging was writing whatever you wanted. No one told me there was a proven workflow/path you should follow. The results were staggering.

Not knowing the power of social engagement, I actually posted my blog articles on Facebook. But because consistency was a huge issue for me, the return on that writing investment never paid off.
